San Antonio Water System presents the 12th annual Festival of Flowers, Saturday, May 23, at the Alzafar Shrine, 901 N. Loop 1604 West between Stone Oak Parkway and Blanco Road.
Highlights of the event include a city-wide plant exchange, landscaping and organic gardening seminars, an indoor gardening mall, herb cooking demonstrations and Go Texan Farmer's Market.
Come early and get a free xeriscape plant, compliments of SAWS, one per adult, while they last. Event hours are 9am-5pm. Admission is $5 for adults, free for children younger than 10. Parking is free.
