San Antonio Water System (SAWS) was created in May 1992 through the consolidation of three predecessor agencies – City Water Board, City Wastewater Department and Alamo Water Conservation and Reuse District. Today we are one of the premier utilities
in the country with exemplary programs in water resources development, conservation,
watershed protection, wastewater treatment and agricultural support. This report details
some of the many successes we experienced in 2004.
