Sealed bids are requested by the San Antonio Water System for the construction of approximately 18,500 linear feet of 60-inch FRP slip-lined sanitary sewer main, 3,750 linear feet of 57-inch FRP slip-lined / CIPP sanitary sewer main, 2,260 linear feet of 84-inch FRP sanitary sewer main, 190 linear feet of 60-inch FRP sanitary sewer main, and a biological odor control unit
for Twin 72-inch Sewer Replacement Project, SAWS Job No. 07-2503.
Sealed bids will be received by the Contract Administration Division,
2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, Customer Center Building, Suite 171, San Antonio,
Texas 78212, until 2:00 PM,
November 17, 2009.
Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud in the San Antonio Water System’s Customer Center Building, 1st floor, Suite 171, Conference Room 169, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, San Antonio, Texas.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be
held on October 27, 2009
at 10:30 AM at San Antonio Water System’s Customer Center Building, 3rd floor, Conference Room CR-C339, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, San Antonio, Texas.
Please be advised that under no circumstances shall any late or non-attendee(s)
to the Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting be allowed to bid the project.
Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, or
bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price.
Interested bidders may obtain one electronic set of plans and specifications from the San Antonio Water System's Contract Administration Office, 2800 U.S. 281 North, Customer Center Building, Suite 171, San Antonio, Texas 78212, between the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The System reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any
or all formalities.

Addendum 1 posted November 5, 2009. Note: Due to the multiple changes with the front-end documents, the plans and specs were revised. Therefore, the entire set of plans and specs are loaded on the website. The file is rather large and take several minutes to download. In addition, the Addendum cover, along with the revised specs, are located at the bottom of the list below all of the plans.

Addendum #3 posted November 12, 2009 extending the bid date to November 17, 2009 at 2:00 p.m.
