Sealed bids are requested by the San Antonio Water System for the fabrication of steel tank ladders, components, galvanizing, removal of old ladders, installation of fabricated ladder systems that requires welding and installation of vandal guards, brackets, rungs, supports, flat bars, clips, etc., and coating for 18 complete tank ladder systems that meets applicable OSHA standards
for 2008 Tank Ladder Improvement Project, SAWS Job No. 08-6004.
Sealed bids will be received by the Contract Administration Division,
2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, Customer Center Building, Suite 171, San Antonio,
Texas 78212, until 10:00 AM,
December 3, 2009.
Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud in the San Antonio Water System Customer Center Building, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North,1st floor, Suite 169, San Antonio, Texas 78212.
A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will
be held on November 10, 2009
at 1:00 PM at San Antonio Water System Customer Center Building,Contract Administration, lst Floor, Suite 171, Conferene Room 169, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, San Antonio, Texas 78212.
Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, or
bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price.
Interested bidders may obtain one electronic set of plans and specifications from the San Antonio Water System's Contract Administration Office, 2800 U.S. 281 North, Customer Center Building, Suite 171, San Antonio, Texas 78212, between the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
