Level Four: Double Eagle Course
Program Requirements
In addition to the program requirements listed for Eagle Course achievement,
the following requirements
should be implemented to achieve Double Eagle Course
status in the Golf Fore SA program:
Water Conservation
Participating golf courses agree to:
- Irrigate at no more than 70% of
ET
- Use a minimum of 90% on-site or SAWS
recycled water for irrigation needs
- Discontinue watering the roughs
 Wildlife and Open
Space
Participating
golf courses agree to:
- Provide for natural filtration of water features
- Prepare and submit a surface geological map
Water Quality
Participating golf courses agree to:
- Monitor ground/surface water discharge
sampling with approve plan
- Synthetic chemical limit to 5% of total usage
Community Outreach
Participating golf courses agree
to:
- Offer free youth programs with a goal
of reaching 400 youth annually
- Host a minimum of four charitable
events annually
- Allow nature tours
for
the public with a
goal of reaching
200
residents annually
