Various Locations
|
|
Six unique San Antonio gardens will be open to the public between 10am and 5pm Saturday, October 18. This is the first “Open Days” Tour in San Antonio, which benefits the national non-profit Garden Conservancy program. Each of the gardens on the self-guided tour reflect a different perspective on how plants and design combine to create unique outdoor living spaces. Each conserves water in their own way. Three of the homes were professionally designed, while the other three were created by the homeowner. Visitors to each of the gardens will take away ideas for their own home landscapes. Admission to each garden is $5. Presale tickets to all six gardens are $25, available at Milberger’s Landscape Nursery, Shades of Green, the Twig Book Shop and San Antonio Flower Company at 8597 Blanco Road.
