About the H2O Library
The H2O Library provides users with access to an abundant collection of water
and environmental resources and information. H2O Library collection includes
books, curriculum, and videos all available to check out online.

Each category is broken into the following topic subcategories:
- Conservation
- Ecology
- Environmental Education
- Environmental Science
- Groundwater
- Professional Development
- Surface Water
- Water Quality
- Water Science
- Watersheds
A maximum of six (6) library items may be checked
out at any time (i.e. 2 videos, 2 books, 2 curriculums).
Items checked out can be borrowed for up to three (3) weeks.
Please note that these resources are in high demand. If you
complete your use before the three-week period has ended, please
return them as soon as possible.

After signing in you are taken to the "MY ACCOUNT" page where all your
library transactions and account information are stored.

Library Bag
The Library Bag is similar to an online shopping cart. Your Library Bag will
collect and store items as you browse through the library, allowing you to
decide on which items you want. You may add and remove items as often as you
like before reserving.
Items on Reserve
Items you have scheduled to be reserved for you, but have not yet
picked up from the SAWS main office.
Items Currently Checked Out
Items that have been checked out and picked up from the SAWS main
office.
Items Due This Week
A reminder for items due to be returned in the next week. Items that are due back
that day are displayed in red.
Account History
A record of all items you have checked out from the H2O
Library.
How to Use the H2O Library Online
Searching for items:
The "Browse H2O Library" page divides items into categories: Curriculum, Books &
Magazines, Video and All. Items are further broken down into topic sub categories and are listed under each
category heading.
- To search all items in a category by a specific topic, click on the Topic title
under the respective category. For example, clicking on the topic title "Water
Quality" under the Video category will return all videos on water quality.
- To search all the items in a category click on the category titles (i.e.
Curriculum). For example, by clicking on the category title Curriculum all
topics and items that are curriculum related will be returned.
- To search all items by a topic, click on the specific topic under the "All"
category. This will return all items under all categories for that topic. For
example, clicking on "Watersheds" under the All category will return all
curriculum, books, magazines, posters, and videos about watersheds.
- You can also use the search box which searches item titles containing the user
defined keyword.
Library Item Information:
Based on your search criteria, information for each item is shown and displays
title, author, and availability.
EXAMPLE:
Reserve & Checkout using Your Library Bag:
- Check the box next to the item title to add to your Library Bag,
and specify number of copies needed (Note: Total number of copies available is displayed to
the right).
- Indicate the check out period by selecting the day you plan to pick up items and
the day you plan to return items. Items can be checked out for a maximum of three weeks.
- Submit your choices by clicking the submit button at the bottom of the page.
Submitted items will go into the your Library Bag until you complete your check out
selection.
- Completing your checkout: Remove any unwanted items from your Library Bag by
clicking on the "Remove Item" link beside the item's name. You are allowed a maximum of
six items checked out to your account. Once you are happy with your selections, click on
the "Click here to Reserve" link to reserve items until you pick them up.

Schedule a Pick-up Appointment
Once you have reserved your items online, a pick-up appointment must also be scheduled.
Please call 233-3621 or 233-3626 to schedule an appointment. Items can be picked up at the
SAWS Administration building on 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays between 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
