Weather Continues to Impact Sewer System Along Holbrook Road

Recent rains caused several manholes in the Holbrook Road area to overflow. San Antonio Water System crews have been working to control the sewer spill in the northeast portion of the city but the volume triggered the need for the public notice. The spill was significantly diluted by storm water in the line. No negative effects have been observed in the area.

SAWS Water Quality staff is contacting private well owners in the nearby area. Crews will continue to monitor the area along Salado Creek.

See TCEQ notices for more details.
