SAWS Board Recognizes Heroic Efforts

This morning, our Board recognized the heroic efforts of two SAWS employees -- Robert Herrera and Joanna Treviño -- after they helped save a man trapped in a burning vehicle last week.

Their job is to clean pipes with high pressure water, but that day on Bandera Rd & Loop 1604, they used the water to help extinguish the fire. "We had to act. We had to act now," Treviño said.

So proud of our team!
