Temperatures are rising and the days are getting longer, signaling that spring is just around the corner – along with this year’s Spring Bloom. The free event is the perfect opportunity to learn about expert gardening and landscape care — all while saving water.

Landscape Design Center

Are you ready to transform your water-guzzling grass into a more diverse and attractive landscape? Join us at the landscape design center where you'll find more information about using SAWS WaterSaver coupons to create the water-efficient landscape of your dreams. The WaterSaver Landscape and Patioscape Coupon programs offer registered participants $100 to $200 toward the purchase of water-saving plants and hardscaping.

WaterSaver Rewards

A new rewards program will offer attendees a chance to earn a $30 coupon to use toward water-conserving landscape supplies! You can even earn points at the event.

Plant Sales and Fun Activities for Kids

imageFilling up the front parking lot of SAWS headquarters this Saturday will be a host of botanical groups selling landscape plants, herbs and vegetables. Unique species will be available from the Gardening Volunteers of South Texas and the San Antonio Botanical Society. Don't forget to visit the tables of the Bexar County Master Gardeners, San Antonio Herb Society and the San Antonio Men's Garden Clubs. You won't be able to resist!

Local gardening experts will be speaking throughout the day, offering great tips to help spruce up your yard while still saving water. And, of course, there will be a fun-filled learning area for children with activities like propagating plants, making water cycle bracelets and painting pet rocks.
