SAWS Ending Boil Water Notice in Far South Bexar County

San Antonio Water System is rescinding the Boil Water Notice for far South Bexar County.

SAWS conducted tests to ensure that water in the area met all safe drinking water standards. Individuals there can again drink and cook with water from their tap without boiling.

A main break early Tuesday combined with nearby closed valves resulted in pressure loss in the area that serves 373 customers triggering a required Boil Water notice.

SAWS distributed bottled water to the affected customers.
