Pearl Brewery's Basil Fest to Also Benefit Project Agua

Attention runners and walkers. After you complete the June 2 SAWS 5K, head over to the Farmer’s Market at Pearl Brewery and rehydrate.

Basil will be in the spotlight during a “Thirst Quenchers Challenge,” featuring local chefs, caterers, et al. whipping up their best basil-inspired aguas frescas. Festivities begin at 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Best of all, you get to be the judge!

The recipe that collects the most donations wins. Proceeds benefit Project Agua, which assists qualified families in need with water utility payments.
