SAWS to Present 2012 Water Management Plan at Public Meeting Thursday, Sept. 13

San Antonio Water System will hold a second public meeting concerning the 2012 Water Management Plan and proposed drought ordinance changes.

Meeting Details
What: Public meeting and presentation of 2012 Water Management Plan and proposed drought ordinance changes
When: 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13
Where: Mission Library
3134 Roosevelt Ave., 78214

Proposed changes to the Water Management Plan will meet the city's needs through 2039 regardless of weather conditions. We can do this by continuing to invest in regional supplies and desalination, and continued commitment to conservation.

Additionally, revisions to the city's conservation ordinance reflect the availability of new non-Edwards water resources and effective customer cooperation with drought restrictions.
