SAWS to Present 2012 Water Management Plan at Sept. 27 & Oct. 1 Public Meetings

San Antonio Water System is holding a series of public meetings concerning the 2012 Water Management Plan and proposed drought ordinance changes.

Proposed changes to the Water Management Plan will meet the city's needs through 2039 regardless of weather conditions. We can do this by continuing to invest in regional supplies and desalination, and continued commitment to conservation.

Additionally, revisions to the city's conservation ordinance reflect the availability of new non-Edwards water resources and effective customer cooperation with drought restrictions.

Join the discussion at these public meetings:

Thursday, Sept. 27

6:30 - 8 p.m.

St. Mary's University
AT&T Center for Information Technology
1 Camino Santa Maria

Monday, Oct. 1

6:30 - 8 p.m.

SAPD East substation
3635 E. Houston St.
