SAWS Named Top Workplace in San Antonio for Second Year in a Row

San Antonio Water System has been recognized for the second year in a row as a Top Workplace in San Antonio by the San Antonio Express-News. The 2012 designation ranks SAWS as one of the city’s top 10 workplaces in the category of Large Companies by earning standout scores for employees’ responses on specific aspects of the work environment.
"It is because of our exceptional and dynamic workforce that SAWS has received this recognition for the second year in a row," said Robert R. Puente, SAWS President/CEO. "From crew members working in the field to accountants crunching numbers to find more cost savings, all of our employees are playing a major role in providing the best quality water services to the San Antonio community."
Being recognized as one of the top 80 companies in the San Antonio area and among the top ten in the category of Large Companies was due to SAWS employees who responded to an online survey, highlighting pay and benefits as the strengths of the work environment.
