SAWS Now Accepting Applications for Refreshing Ideas Awards

Deadline for entries is
Friday, Jan. 18.

Do you know a business that deserves special recognition for its novel eco-savvy practices?

San Antonio Water System is now accepting applications (links are below) for its annual Refreshing Ideas Awards for sustainable leadership in the areas of water conservation and water quality/environmental protection.

Winners will be recognized at a luncheon on April 9, 2013 at Pearl Stable, 303 Pearl Parkway. The deadline to apply for the Refreshing Ideas Awards is 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18, 2013.

The two categories seek to recognize businesses and industry that share a social responsibility to conserve water and excel in water quality protection.

By making every drop count, San Antonio leads the nation in water conservation. Because of that commitment, together we are building a strong, earth-friendly economy, helping to make San Antonio water’s most resourceful city.
