SAWS Doubles Amounts of Residential, Commercial Irrigation Design Rebates

SAWS is doubling most of its irrigation design rebate amounts for both residential and commercial water customers in an effort to encourage more water savings and promote healthier landscapes. There’s also a new option of permanently capping your entire irrigation system for a larger rebate.

By permanently capping your irrigation system, residential customers can receive $450 in the form of a credit on your water bill. For commercial customers, this rebate is $600.

Now, residential customers can receive up to $800 in total irrigation design rebates. Previously the maximum amount was $400. For commercial customers, the maximum amount has increased from $3,200 to $6,000. Also, customers will now receive 50 percent of the total approved rebate amount as the initial installment versus the previous 25 percent.
