Financial Aid Application Assistance Begins Jan. 26

Are you applying for college financial aid this year? Need a little help navigating all those state and federal forms?

The Student Aid Saturdays program offers free one-on-one assistance filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA).

imageThe event is held every Saturday from Jan. 26 through April 27 at various locations throughout San Antonio. Trained college financial aid experts will be available to answer questions and provide information on scholarship applications. Help is available in English and Spanish.

High school seniors and their parents or guardians, as well as current college students and those returning to or starting college for the first time, are encouraged to attend.

The Student Aid Saturdays Program partners with schools, businesses and education-focused community organizations across Bexar County. For more information and a schedule of events, visit Student Aid Saturdays' website.
