All That Jazz
If you've never been to the San Antonio Botanical Garden, Sunday, May 5, is the perfect time to drop in because the annual SAWS Garden Jazz Party will be in full swing.
Admission to the garden (555 Funston Place) is free during the event that combines water-saving gardening tips with good-natured fun. Think loads of info on garden planning, plant selection, irrigation, landscape maintenance and creating a wildscape.
Still need a little nudge? Here are three more reasons to attend:
- Experts from Bexar County Master Gardeners and Garden Volunteers of South Texas will be on hand to answer your perplexing gardening queries.
- Can you say plant sale? Browse a great selection of drought-tolerant plants.
- Get a free T-shirt just for participating in a guided tour of WaterSaver Lane or visiting two of several learning stations located throughout the garden.
Still not convinced? Nosh on tasty hors d'oeuvres and sip refreshing beverages while you tap your toes to the jazzy tunes of Henry Brun and the Latin Playerz. Oh, yeah – and the whole shindig is free.
See you there!
