Developing a Statewide Funding Source
Starting with the 75th State Legislature, SAWS has participated in formulating recommendations for a permanent statewide funding source that will address the estimated 250,000 abandoned wells in the State of Texas. Attempts thus far have not been successful, but SAWS will continue their efforts in achieving a statewide funding source.
