During 2008 – the testing period represented in this report – most of SAWS drinking water originated as groundwater
from the Edwards, Local Carrizo, and Trinity aquifers, and
in some areas, surface water from Canyon Lake. Information on additional water resources is available in our Water Resources section of this site.
