The Residential Rate Calculator can be used to help you estimate your monthly residential SAWS bill, based on projected water use and other criteria.
SAWS’ 2010 budget has been approved without a rate increase; however, a new line item has been added to your monthly bill. A charge of up to 24 cents per customer connection now will be itemized and displayed separately on your monthly bill to cover the cost of fees substantially increased by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
The Edwards Aquifer Authority fee also is expected to increase in 2010 as a result of that agency's budget, amounting to an additional 48 cents on the monthly bill.
When you use the calculator, it may be helpful to have a copy of a recent SAWS
bill handy.
Just key in the information requested and click the "calculate" button.
