BexarMet Integration Advisory Committee

San Antonio Water System is currently reviewing applications of citizens wishing to serve on the BexarMet Integration Advisory Committee. The deadline for submitting an application was Friday, March 9, 2012.

Created in compliance with Senate Bill 341, the BexarMet Integration Advisory Committee will advise the SAWS Board of Trustees on the integration of services and infrastructure of the former BexarMet Water District. The committee must include at least one representative from each county served by the system. Committee members must reside in or own/operate a business located in the former BexarMet Water District.

The committee will meet every month in the late afternoon/early evening at San Antonio Water System Headquarters, and will consult with the SAWS Board of Trustees at least quarterly, during a regularly scheduled or specially called board meeting.

The SAWS Board of Trustees is expected to vote on the selection of committee members at its April 3, 2012 meeting.

If you are selected to serve by the SAWS Board, you will be contacted via email after April 3.
