Neighborhoods affected were Terra Mont and Stonewall Estates
SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio Water System officials have determined that customers in the Terra Mont and Stonewall Estates neighborhood can now use their tap water without boiling, About 700 homes in the area were affected by a drop of pressure on Sunday morning.
SAWS conducted tests to ensure that water in the area met all safe drinking water standards. Individuals there can again drink and cook with water from their tap without boiling.
While the notice has been lifted in these areas, we still recommend that customers flush household pipes, ice makers and water fountains prior to using for drinking or cooking.
