If you have a significant leak, please turn off your water at the meter.
The videos below will show how to check if you have a continuous leak and how to shut off the main water service to your home.
If you can’t shut off your water, you can request assistance online. Or call our Emergency Operations Center at 210-704-7297.
SAWS crews are out looking for leaks neighborhood-by-neighborhood that could affect pressure throughout the water system. If they suspect a leak on a property, they will attempt to contact the owner/resident first and then shut the water off.
Finally, SAWS representatives will leave a door hanger informing the owner/resident that their water has been shut off and that they need to contact a plumber for repairs.
