If you see a homeowner or business wasting water, use our reporting form to tell us about it. By reporting water waste, you’re helping SAWS educate your neighbors and the community about what is and isn’t allowed in a friendly, non-threatening way.
Report Water Leaks
Report any SAWS service lines water leaks you see coming from:
- Homes or businesses.
- The ground.
- Fire hydrants.
- Exposed pipes or meter boxes.
If you suspect a leak at your own home, shut off the main water service at the meter. Please note that SAWS cannot repair plumbing on private property. If you have a leak, you will need to hire a plumber.
Report a Water Outage
If your home or business unexpectedly loses water service, please check this map for scheduled or emergency outages in your area.
If you're experiencing an unscheduled outage, call 210-704-SAWS (7297) any time of day or night. The information you provide will help us respond to emergency water outages more quickly.
Report Water and Sewer Emergencies
If you see a leak that appears to come from the SAWS water or sewer system, please call 210-704-SAWS (7297) any time of day or night.
Report a Sewer Blockage
If your toilets and tubs start backing up, there could be sewer blockage. First, call a licensed plumber to inspect your line with a video camera and clear any blockage. If the problem is in the SAWS main, call us so we can dispatch a crew to investigate.
Ethics Hotline
If you suspect unethical, dishonest or even illegal behaviors involving SAWS, its employees or its vendors, you can report it anonymously through an independent, third-party-managed ethics hotline.

Safety Hotline
