A highly skilled team of SAWS mechanics, electricians and instrumentation experts installed a nearly 1,000-pound production flow meter at Wurzbach Pump Station on the city’s Northwest Side. It’s all part of the SAWS Non-Revenue Water Program. Located at SAWS facilities across the city, these mega-meters measure the amount of water pumped from wells for delivery to customers. There are 112 production meters that will be replaced by the end of 2026. More accurate measurement helps ensure every drop gets delivered to our customers.
