Reminder of New Rates for 2020

A SAWS rate adjustment, approved by San Antonio City Council in October 2015, takes effect Jan. 1, 2020. The adjustment will change the average monthly residential bill, excluding regulatory pass-through and stormwater fees, from $65.83 to $72.38, or 9.9 percent.

The tables show the new rates for each service and customer type. The impact on your own bill may be greater than or less than the average depending on your water use. The new rates are for Water Supply Fee and Recycled Water only. There are no changes to the water delivery or wastewater rates for 2020. The new rates will appear on February bills.

To estimate how your own bill will change, use the rate calculator at saws.org/calculator.
