There’s no doubt that spring is a good time to plant. But fall is even better! With that in mind, the spring coupon will still have a value of $125, and this year the fall coupon amount will increase to $150!
Also, we’re pausing the coupons for summer since that’s the most challenging time for new plants to get established.
Here’s what you need to know for the spring planting season:
- Through April 30, residential customers can apply for up to four coupons to replace part of your water-demanding grass. (That’s $500 in savings!)
- Remove 200 square feet of grass per coupon, along with any automatic sprinklers or drip lines in the project area.
- Redeem coupons by May 15.
- Submit your post-inspection form and photos to SAWS by May 31.
If you’re thinking ahead to fall planting, spring and summer are the perfect time to prep your space — like getting rid of any grass. That also gives you time to find out if you qualify for an additional Irrigation Design Rebate.
