Be A WaterSaver. Learn how to save water and money.

Do You Qualify for Free Toilets?


SAWS will give customers up to two new water-efficient toilets absolutely free to those living in homes built prior to 1992. High-efficient showerheads and aerators also are available to SAWS customers.

Get a free home checkup and learn how to keep money from going down the drain. Our conservation professionals will check all your water connections for any leaks and check your irrigation system's performance and evaluate existing turf and soil conditions.

It's all free to SAWS customers, if you call 210-704-SAWS (7297).

 

  • Landscape watering is permitted any day before 10 a.m. and after 8 p.m.
  • Water waste includes runoff or failing to fix leaks.
  • Watering with a hand-held hose is permitted any time.

Year-Round Restrictions

Year-round restrictions are in effect in the SAWS service area when the aquifer level remains above 660 feet. When the aquifer drops below 660 feet, additional rules apply. Visit SAWS Drought Restrictions for complete watering rules and drought restrictions.
