Join SAWS gardening experts March 14 in celebrating the arrival of spring.
After an unpredictable winter, San Antonio Water System is ready to help you welcome the start of the new season with our annual front-yard party, Spring Bloom!
Not only is the event free, but the first 1,000 adult guests will receive a free WaterSaver plant. Choices include Gregg’s mistflower, Mexican oregano, Salvia evolution and Salvia Roman red.
Whether you have a green thumb or not, Spring Bloom is the perfect opportunity to spruce up your gardening expertise. This family-friendly event will feature local community experts that can help you transform your yard from thirsty to thriving.
You’ll also have the chance to learn more about the 2026 SAWS WaterSaver Landscape Coupon. This year, SAWS GardenStyleSA is introducing the theme “Spring is Good, Fall is Better: Pause Planting in Summer.”
With that in mind, in 2026 the spring coupon will have a value of $125, and this year the fall coupon amount will increase to $150! Also, we’re pausing the coupons for summer since that’s the most challenging time for new plants to get established.
Finally, Spring Bloom features the premiere of our newly updated “Landscape Care Guide”, created by SAWS Conservation Department to help customers build and maintain a beautiful and water-efficient yard throughout the seasons.
