City Council District 7

SAWS is replacing aging water lines with a history of breaking. Construction will be along W Gramercy Place, from St. Cloud to Wilson Blvd. along COSA right of way.

We will employ traffic control to minimize disturbances, but you may see detours and lane closures in work areas as lines are being replaced. Once SAWS work is complete, COSA will continue possible asphalt and concrete work.

SAWS Shares Water Line Replacement Plans

August 25, 2025

SAWS staff hosted a meeting at Joe Ward Center to provide an update on the upcoming water infrastructure project.

Set to begin November 2025, this project replaces 3,300 feet of water main on W Gramercy Pl, from St. Cloud to Wilson Blvd. This is a little over the length of 4 Towers of the Americas!

During the presentation, SAWS outlined key details including project schedule, process of construction, and what customers should expect when the project begins. Residents had the opportunity to view construction maps and speak one-on-one with SAWS staff regarding their homes, service interruptions, and traffic control plans. COSA Public Works was also in attendance and answered additional questions related to sidewalks and neighborhood streets.
