Water Management Plan
The Water Management Plan, which is updated every five years, ensures San Antonio Water System and the community we serve are navigating a secure water future together. SAWS manages 13 supply projects originating from seven different sources, assuring a secure water future for our growing community.
Conservation Plan
SAWS’ Five-Year Water Conservation Plan provides a comprehensive look at our city’s water use patterns, use reduction targets and strategies associated with water conservation in San Antonio. The goals stated in this Plan directly support the long-term vision of SAWS’ Water Management Plan.
Capital Improvement Program
The Capital Improvement Program (CIP) is a planning and budgeting tool that provides information about SAWS infrastructure needs. It identifies requirements for sustaining, restoring and modernizing the facilities and infrastructure that support water supply and delivery, wastewater collection and treatment, and chilled water requirements in the SAWS service area. It also prioritizes and schedules projects for funding and execution through a multi-year plan.
