Based on your ZIP Code, we have determined that you may qualify for an income-based discount on your SAWS bill. But instead of waiting for you to apply, we have already enrolled you to begin receiving the lower discounted rates.
This discount has already been applied to your SAWS account. But there’s one more important step you need to take.
To continue receiving the lower rate, you must complete the Uplift application by FEBRUARY 2027 and meet the program eligibility requirements.
SAWS Uplift is not new. What is new is how customers enroll.
We have been helping eligible families and individuals lower their monthly water and sewer bills for years. This pilot program to automatically enroll customers like you was developed to discover different ways to help our neighbors manage the cost of monthly SAWS service.
Customers selected for this program will automatically receive the SAWS bill discount for six months.
For most customers, the Uplift discount is about $25 per month. To continue getting the discount after the first six months, you MUST apply and provide documents that show you meet the income requirements of the program.

If you don’t enroll in SAWS Uplift by FEBRUARY 2027, your SAWS bill will return to the standard, non-discounted rates.
