Construction Project Summary

|
SAWS is replacing aging sewer lines. Construction will be along Castroville Rd from S Acme Rd to SW 38th St, then along SW 38th St from Marbauch Ave to Estrella St. This site is part of a project with multiple sites throughout the city of San Antonio. The project will address wastewater mains in need of repair based on condition assessment through the Capacity, Management Operations, and Maintenance (CMOM) Program.
Traffic control will be in place, but you may still see lane closures and detours in active work zones. Bypass piping will be in place to maintain service.

During the presentation, contractors outlined key details including project timeline, process of construction, and what customers should expect when the project begins. Residents asked questions regarding traffic control, bypass installation, and neighborhood streets.
