Confluence 2012

Their Future Begins Now!

More than 800 students from 22 public and private high schools participated in the second annual Confluence summit Feb. 12, 2013, making it a huge success once again.

The 2013 summit focused on the topic of grease and the hazard it has become by clogging our sewer pipes and causing sanitary sewer overflows.

The Confluence summit is designed both to explore the water issues facing San Antonio and to devise ways students can make a difference. Each year, the event will focus on one of five water issues: water quality; water availability; shared resources; affordability and grease in our sewers.
