Jaime Castillo
Senior VP Operations Support & Innovation / Chief of Staff
Castillo joined SAWS in 2017 as Chief of Staff for the Office of the President/CEO. In his current role, he oversees the areas of Continuous Improvement & Innovation, Fleet & Facilities and Security. Castillo also helps implement major project initiatives.
In addition to more than 20 years of combined experience in communications and public affairs, Castillo has a vast range of knowledge in federal, state and municipal government. He spent 15 years working as a newspaper reporter and editor. Most recently, he served as director of public affairs for GDC Marketing and Ideation.
Born and raised in El Paso, Castillo earned his Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Texas at El Paso. He has a Master of Arts in Latin American Studies from the University of Texas at Austin.
